SMAs for Financial Advisors
and Institutional Investors

A successful relationship between advisor and client depends on a mutual understanding and comfort of how their money is being managed. This helps your clients commit to long term investing and avoid chasing performance.

CAIM’s mission is to strengthen and protect our client’s (long-term) investment goals by creating dividend-yielding portfolios with low volatility. This classic strategy benefits investors in both up and down markets and, over time, minimizes risk.

CAIM Market Minute

The correction we expected in September and October seem to now be underway in November. Not surprising given the overall market valuation and whether or not the Fed will lower interest rates in December. We view this as a healthy correction as we are seeing a broadening out into undervalued groups i.e., Healthcare. Signs of a weakening consumer are increasing which will most likely lead to the interest rates being lowered. 3Q earnings and productivity are much better than expected.

• CAIM Dividend Focus portfolio currently yields 3.20%.
• We have broad industry diversification.
• Quarter to date, portfolios are net positive versus negative for SP 500 and RV1000

Dividends

We believe a portfolio of dividend stocks is likely to well outperform the S&P 500 Index and returns from Treasuries over a 20 year period.
